What the service is

The editor, 3D view, wiring schematic, validation and BOM run in your browser and are free. The build service compiles ESPHome firmware from your construct on our server. The board simulator plays a virtual board for the remote — it is a demonstration, not hardware, and proves nothing about a physical robot.

Account

Signing in is optional and adds memory, not access: without an account the product works fully, and your library lives only in your browser. An account stores your library on the server so it survives this browser and reaches your other machines.

Fair use

Firmware builds cost real compute, so they are limited: per source when anonymous, per account when signed in. The builder accepts only configurations produced by the exoanima generator — arbitrary YAML is refused. Attempts to work around these limits may lead to the account being suspended.

Firmware and your hardware

Firmware is compiled with ESPHome, which is licensed under GPLv3. The exact ESPHome version is shown with every build, and the full configuration your firmware was built from can be downloaded next to the binary.

You flash firmware onto your own hardware at your own risk. Robots move in the physical world: check your wiring, keep clear of moving parts and never rely on this firmware for anything safety-critical. Flight control is explicitly out of scope — this firmware carries payloads, it does not stabilise aircraft.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage to hardware, data or anything the firmware controls.

Who is the seller

Paid plans, when they appear, are sold through Paddle acting as Merchant of Record: Paddle runs the checkout, issues invoices, handles taxes and stores payment details. Card data never reaches exoanima.

The product is operated by Oleh Tatarynov, a sole proprietor (Kherson, Ukraine).
